ITN has appointed the current Editor of ITV News Rachel Corp to be the next Chief Executive of the company – taking over from Deborah Turness in September.
Rachel joined ITN as a trainee in the 1990s, and as well as working at ITV News, has had stints at 5 News, ITV News London, the BBC, and the digital production company WebsEdge.
In an ITN press release, she said: “I am delighted and honoured to be taking the reins as CEO at such a crucial time for news and journalism”. The Chair of ITN Kyla Mullins described Rachel as an “outstanding leader”.
